I love using this on my feet and legs. It takes care of dry/peeling/flaky skin in no time at all. I have tried a few similar brands such as AmLactin, and this one didn’t have a weird odor and left my skin feeling less greasy.
I am prone to chest/back acne and started a new topical medication (Aklief) that requires moisturizer after application. I thought that the salicylic and lactic acid combo, as acne treatments on their own that I have had success with, would be a second hit against the acne, but something else in the formula is causing me to break out.
I switched to the regular Cerave (also in a blue tub) and the acne went away. Go figure!
Leaving it at 4 stars because it is not advertised as acne treatment. But it is not 5 stars because it is too expensive. Will probably go with a cheaper alternative when I run out. My feet are not that picky.

A: At your own risk. I personally would not. I use an acid serum on my face that I wash off after a few minutes. I recommend searching Amazon for “acid peel for face”.
Q:Why did the texture turn hard? I can’t even rub it on my skin
A: My wife has never had that happen with CeraVe so she can’t answer the question.
